Blu-Ray Review: The Original Christmas Specials Collection
Christmas is coming! We are so excited to start the holiday season with the Original Christmas Specials Collection Blu-Ray. We received this Blu-Ray set to review but all opinions are ours. My kids were so excited when the set arrived and couldn’t wait to watch.
Classic Christmas Specials
This Blu-Ray set comes with some of our favorite movies! The movies included are: Frosty the Snowman, Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town, The Little Drummer Boy, Cricket on the Hearth and my family’s personal favorite: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. We could watch these movies over and over again! They are classics that are still so popular today.

We loved the packaging of this set! It comes in a steelcase with vibrant pictures from the movies. Each special gets their own disc with the exception of The Little Drummer Boy and the Cricket on the Hearth who share a disc. The packaging alone makes me want to get out all my Christmas decorations right now and decorate! It is also compact so even though you get four discs, they don’t take up too much room.
It comes with fun special features!
I always love special features on a Blu-Ray and sometimes that can make a difference between buying the movie or not. The special features here are fun! We have watched a special version of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer that was played in select theme parks. This is especially fun for us theme park fans. Also, if your kids like getting read to like mine, there is a story about Rudolph that is read out loud as a special feature. I think that was my son’s favorite special feature so far. We look forward to checking out even more of the special features on each disc.
